I've always known that my parents were older than the parents — and occasionally even the grandparents — of my peers. Having older parents than my peers was both rewarding and challenging while growing up. Almost any child with older parents, regardless of the generation they were born into, can tell you they've imagined what taking care of their parents would look like. To my surprise, many of my Gen Z friends knew exactly what I was going through. You rarely tell the "outside" — be it your extended family or friends, what's going on "inside" — or in the home.

I've been to over 100 countries, and I have five in mind I'd love to revisit. Oman is underrated and Georgia is such a special place I've been there multiple times. AdvertisementOnce you've visited over half of the world's countries, the urge to travel to every nation slowly starts to take hold of your itinerary. Here are the five countries I'd revisit in a heartbeat — and that I'd recommend to anyone planning their next trip. Surprisingly enough, none of my picks have cracked the top 10 for the most visited countries this year so far — so you may also be able to avoid summer crowds by checking them out.

Readers have been asking me, and I have been asking myself of late, how I feel about the campus demonstrations to stop the war in Gaza. My problem is not that the protests in general are “antisemitic” — I would not use that word to describe them, and indeed, I am deeply uncomfortable as a Jew with how the charge of antisemitism is thrown about on the Israel-Palestine issue. If you are for that, whatever your religion, nationality or politics, you’re part of the solution. If you are not for that, you’re part of the problem. And from everything I have read and watched, too many of these protests have become part of the problem — for three key reasons.

On Wednesday, I tried Kriya meditation for the first time. Given how sore I felt from working out the past two days, I decided Wednesday would be the perfect day to try Spiegel's other morning activity: Kriya meditation. Spiegel told Vogue Australia in 2022 that his wife got him "hooked on Kriya meditation."
